		Cross-Angle Stereovision Optics Excellent clarity is just the beginning of what you can expect with Luxvision's SL-880 tower illumination system. This advanced Cross-Angle Stereovision Optical System offers two-step magnification and a wide field of view.

		Two-Step Magnification Luxvision's SL-880 features an easy-to-change two-step magnification system that allows for a more detailed exam. Final magnification ratios are equivalent to 10x (Ø18mm) and 16x (Ø14.5mm) with the 10x eyepiece. Fine adjustments can also be made to the PD and optical correction.

		Wide Field of View with a Range of PD and Diopter Adjustment Luxvision's SL-880 Advanced Converging Stereoscope Microscope offers a very large binocular field of view of Ø18mm and Ø14.5mm, with a 55mm-82mm range of PD adjustment. The SL-700 also features diopter adjustments of ±6D using the 10x eyepiece.

		High Clarity Luminance and Built-in Filters The SL-880 utilizes a 12-volt, 30-watt high luminance halogen lamp to provide bright illumination and outstanding clarity. By shifting the unit's filter selection tray, you can easily select from four built-in Illumination Pathway Filters. Options include a heat absorption filter that aids in patient comfort during lengthy exams, a red-free filter that enhances structural contrast, a cobalt blue filter for use in fluorescein assessment, and a grey filter. When indirect retro-illumination is needed, you can easily deflect the illumination light using the unit's well-placed controls.

		Continuous Slit Rotation and Aperture Adjustment The SL-880 features 2/3x slit projection magnification and enables users to modify slit width continuously from 0mm to 9mm using an easy-to-adjust knob. The slit becomes a circle at 9mm. A simple turn of the aperture and slit height control knob reveals that six different beams of light are available at full aperture: Ø9mm, Ø8mm, Ø5mm, Ø3mm, Ø1mm, and Ø0.2mm. The slit height, which is indicated in a display window, also can be changed continuously, from 1mm to 8mm. Using precise movements and controls, operators can swing the main body of the slit horizontally to revolve the slit image at any angle in the vertical or horizontal direction, from 0° to 180°. Another helpful scale indicated the angle of image rotation.

		Optional Accessories Luxvision's SL-880 slit lamp can be equipped with the TN-150 / TN-150B applanation tonometer or the Haag-Streit AG Model R-900 or Model T-900 applanation tonometer for measuring intraocular pressure.

		Ergonomic Design Delivers Comfort and Control The SL-880 makes it simple to capture the necessary views. All of the unit's knobs, dials and controls are ergonomically designed with comfort and efficiency in mind. Rheostat-based adjustable illumination offers control of three different levels of brightness.

		Multidirectional Joystick Maneuver the SL-880 with ease using the intuitive multidirectional joystick. Precision adjustments are at your fingertips by simply turning and tilting the joystick. The base operation of the SL-880 offers the following movements: forward and back movement to 90mm; left and right movement to 100mm, fine movement to15mm and vertical movement to 30mm. Once you achieve the proper alignment, the base can be locked to prevent sliding.

Small Footprint Luxvision's SL-880 takes up minimal space without compromising features or quality. A compact work table is included with the SL-880. Also, the unit's accessory drawer is a useful addition to the unit's footprint and can be used to store the focusing test rod and other accessories.
